Gargasamhitā 6.31:
If the Moon appears, then Brahma is radiant, (and) the twice-born (Brāhmaṇas) appear, and Venus rains on the earth.

Enūma Anu Enlil, VAT 10218, 37-38:
If Venus stands in front of the Moon, there will be rain in the land. If Venus stands behind the Moon, the king will have no rival.
