Hymn to Ammi-ditana 17-18:
Of whisperings, yieldings, mutual love, feeling good, of concord too she is the mistress.

Hesiod, Theogony 203-206:
And this she (= Aphrodite) has allotted from the beginning as her province among men and immortal gods: the whisperings of girls, smiles, deceptions, sweet pleasure, intimacy, and tenderness.
