Text
The Mandean Book of the Zodiac preserves some Mesopotamian omens by means of a direct transmission.
Iqqur īpuš 88.12: If in Šabātu (Adad) thunders: an invasion of locusts in the land.
Sfar Malwašia 266 (Drower): If in the month of Šabat there is a rumbling, there will be much cloud, beasts will perish
many locusts will come.
