Text
Malalas, Chronicle 3.9:
In the time of Joshua, the son of Nun, a man of the tribe of Japheth, named Ogyges, an original inhabitant of the country, reigned over the land of Attica for 32 years. In his reign a great flood occurred and Ogyges and all the land were destroyed, as was every soul living in that land of Attica, but only there. From that time the land remained barren and uninhabited for 270 years, as is related in the writings of Africanus.
