Text
Malalas, Chronicle 1.7:
There was another man of the tribe of Shem, named Cush, an Ethiopian, who became the father of Nimrod the giant, who built Babylon. The Persians say that he was deified and became the star in the heaven which they call Orion. He was the first to practice hunting, and he provided everyone with wild animals to eat and was a leader amongst the Persians.
