Bar Hebraeus, Laughable Stories 20: 708. He who has a dense body is a fool like the ass, especially if he has a loud voice. 709. The man who at the beginning speaks with a loud voice and ends his speech in a thin, small voice is one who grieves and who bears many burdens like an ox. 710. The man whose voice is feeble is timid like the lamb, and he whose voice is sharp and disjointed is a fool like the goat.
