Text
Admonitions of Ādurbād 22 (Middle Persian): From a bad-natured and low-born man do not borrow, and do not lend (to him). For (if you borrow from him) you will have to pay heavy interest, and all the time he will be standing at your door, and constantly he will have a messenger (standing) at your door, and you will have a heavy loss from it.
Ahiqar (Syriac Version) 130-131: Borrow not a heavy loan and from a wicked man. And if you borrow, give yourself no rest until you pay back the loan.
