Enūma Eliš 1.1-6: When above the heaven was not (yet) named, (and) below the earth had not (yet) been called by a name; when primeval Apsu, their begetter, and Mummu Tiamat, she who gave birth to them all, were mingling their waters together, no cane brake was intertwined nor thicket matted close.
