Text
pseudo-Nonnus, Invective 1.71 (Scholia):
Telmessos is a city of Lycia. This is a city that is very old and it existed even in the times of Croesus. These (people) are said to have been the first to discover and interpret dreams and signs. For they said, if there was anything wonderful, that it signified such and such. And by all means, as they said, it would happen that it came about.
