pseudo-Nonnus, Epiphany 16 (Scholia):
The Chaldeans, from whom (there was) first Zarṭasht, and after him Zoroastres and Ostanes, recognised the movements of the heaven, and they said that at such and such a movement of the heavenly bodies, such and such would happen with those who were born (then). From the Chaldeans the Greeks learnt astrology, and they began to compare (the time of birth) of those who were born with the movements of the stars.
