Philoxenus of Mabbog, CSCO 380.53: In place of this (He, who in the days of his flesh
) the authors of Peshitta translated when he was clothed in the flesh, and instead of translating Paul, they inclined to the position of Nestorius who cast the body on to the Word as one does a garment on to an ordinary body, or as purple is put on emperors.
