Text
Lord of the Gods = Zeus = Bel = Marduk, Hermes = Nebo.

Ishodad of Merw, Commentary on Acts 14:12:
This, they called Barnaba Lord of the Gods, and Paul Hermes. He calls Zeus, the son of Kronos Lord of the Gods … but they called Hermes one of the gods who was more rational and skillful and intelligent than all of the Gods; and they called him Hermes Trismegistos, that is to say, who knows three things, what is past and what is present, and what will happen; and because of this they called Paul Hermes.
