An Aramaic inscription from Daskyleion in Anatolia invokes Bel and Nebo.
1. These are the reliefs of ˀElnap son of ˀŠY. 2. It was he who made (them) for his funerary monument. I adjure thee 3. By Bel and Nabû, Who(ever) passes by this way. 4. Let no one do harm (to my tomb).
