Synkellos, Chronographia 377:
… the reckoning of lunar years that they (= Jews) have received in their tradition is based on the Paschal rule and the full moon in the first month of Nisan. Since the Greeks, on the other hand, got their knowledge of this tradition after it was brought by the patriarch Abraham (so it is reported) from the Chaldeans to the Egyptians, the Greeks followed the Egyptians in reckoning a year of 365 days.
