Berossus, Babyloniaca F17: God created and placed the stars. Afterward the most knowledgeable men gave them their proper names and signs and established the laws of their movements.
These names and placings of the stars in constellations even Berossus in his Creation admits have nothing to do with the actual creation of the universe by Jupiter (= Bel).
